Goal Setting

You are  42% more likely to achieve your goals by writing them down which is why kids need to learn from a very young age the power of setting goals as well as how to achieve them.  Each year we tape large pieces of paper onto the wall and encourage our children to write down their goals for the year.   We then review those goals, organize them into categories, and write out the steps necessary to achieve them.  We keep record of the goals in Evernote.  We periodically review the goals and it is amazing to see how many of those goals are reached over the year. 

This week, Ansley and I will focus on her own personal goal setting and plans for the year.  We will read books about setting goals and overcoming obstacles and fill out the linked goal setting sheets to assist her in achieving her goals for the year.
